MEANDER CAT

4-6 PM

Meander Cat is a band out of Moab, Utah that plays original music in every sense, offering heartfelt, beautiful, and soulful vibes. Meander Cat features outlaw Lenore McDonough on vocals, songwriting and empathy; David Mealey on harmonica, bass guitar and wisdom; Jasper Groff on guitar, vocals and debauchery; and the man, the myth Ed Stone on drums. They are a group of angels and misfits that care in the depths of their hearts to share their love for music and energy with audiences everywhere. STRAIGHT CANYON BAND

7-9 PM

The Straight Canyon Band consists of four talented local musicians who have been together for seven years and have played at many local events in Carbon and Emery county. They play a mixture of old and new country, mostly covers with a few originals. Kevin Peacock from Orangeville is the lead vocal and rhythm guitar; Dean Whimpey from Elmo is lead guitar and vocals; Bob Baker from Orem recently rejoined the band and plays bass and vocals, and Starla Davis from Gorden Creek is on drums and vocals. Nine Mile Provisions will be selling bagged coffee, homemade granolas, and iced tea; Center for Expansion will offer homemade herb oil blends and bath bombs, and stop by Desert Castle Bees for delicious local honey. Many of Helper’s storefronts and galleries will be open for business, and be sure to stop at the Helper Saturday Vibes Information booth for great Helper-themed merchandise and information about being a vendor or volunteer at future Helper Saturday Vibes events!
