For those traveling south from the Wasatch Front, Carbon Corridor presents the first glimpses of the rugged beauty of the high desert. Cradled by the Book Cliffs, this land boasts rich history reflected in ancient rock art, scenic and adventurous outdoor opportunities, and museums that educate about the region’s history. About halfway between Salt Lake City and Moab, the county’s cities provide an ideal stopping point for those passing through and a variety of amenities for those who want to stay a little longer.
